Differences in our Society

Life sometimes forces u to think deeply due to the situations around you. I am writing this when I was once traveling on the train. Every one of us had traveled and must have noticed it. Though known to everyone just felt jotting down what encompasses "LIFE"!
In this same world which we call "life" have you ever noticed the differences that exist among the characters of the drama called "Life"? Even the child who lives on the roadside, which I watched through my train passing by, has his world. They too enjoy life, they feel the greatest of the joy even playing with the mud around, making string out of the poly bags thrown in the garbage,  living together, wearing the brightest of the colors, the ladies all done with colorful ribbons, artificial bright jewelry. They also live life though they never get a chance even once in their entire life to sit in an SUV or live in a so-called house. They do not have the AC's 2 cool their rooms but they enjoy the cool breeze sleeping in the open air in a shed on the roadside. They never got a chance to taste the mushrooms, pizza's or the burger but eat only the leftovers or the hard-earned single chapati for the day. They do not have showers to take bath but when you see how these roadside children enjoy every drop of rain, u will be overwhelmed.

So, can anyone ever justify the difference that we witness in our society? Few people in my train had a hot discussion on your “Karma” which according to them and many others decides what you get in your life! But the question still lingers in my mind that whether your "Karma" really assures the quality of life.

A daughter is like a beautiful melody that brings harmony to a family. From the moment she is born, there is something special about the bond. It is a relationship woven with care, trust, and understanding. She is a reflection of her parents’ hopes, dreams, and fears, yet she forges her own path with strength and grace. As she grows, the challenges of the world begin to touch her, yet her resilience shines through. She learns, she stumbles, she rises again—each time with more courage, more wisdom. Watching a daughter navigate life’s complexities is a LESSON in itself! She teaches patience, compassion, and the beauty of seeing life through a heart that feels deeply.  For parents, there is nothing more bittersweet than watching their daughter spread her wings. She may fly far, chasing her own dreams, but her roots remain strong in the love she was raised with. Whether she is near or far, she carries pieces of her parents with her—the values, lessons, and love that shaped her into the r

Does gender-differentiation really calls for gender neutral parenting?

I was a kid though but always wondered why everyone's conversation and actions keep revolving around the son in the family. Once somebody gave me a bowl of four laddoos from my neighbor sharing the happiness that a son was born in their family. The other day we received another bowl but only two laddoos this time. After returning from school, I asked my mum why only two today if the reason is the same? She told me because today a girl is born in some house nearby. I was shocked as I haven't witnessed such behavior in my home even being brought up with an elder brother. This mindset of people pinched me somewhere inside and envying this I told my mum when my daughter will be born, please distribute 6 laddoos in each house. This may be a mere expression of gender differentiation whose roots are sown in our own homes only! 'Don't cry like a girl', 'Boys don't play with dolls and soft toys', 'Don't be loud else society will say the girl doesn't

Year 2020...deplorable yet second bite of the cherry!

The 21st year of 21st century 2021 will come tomorrow! It is not coming alone but bringing along the new horizons in everyone's eyes! This new year is special because it's apparent that the topmost thing in everyone's new year wish list is only the COVID-19 vaccine. This COVID vaccine or its cure is something where the desire of a rich man meets with the poor. Yes, LIFE and DEATH is one thing which is the same to all and beautifully hides all the differences of mankind. The year 2020 now fading slowly and becoming invisible in the darkness of this night but it is stealing away the smiles of children, the dreams in the eyes, the sacrifices of many, the dear ones in families, the hopes of many people, the desires of teenagers, the love of elders and much more. This year brought us the deadly virus and loss of many life, loss in business, joblessness, confinement, and mental stress. But they say, not only this, it has given us a year to learn how to struggle, how important i
